Target Information
LGR7 is a low-density lipoprotein receptor of 757 amino acids belonging to the G-protein coupled receptor 1 family with rhodopsin-like receptor activity.
It contains seven transmembrane regions, a cysteine-rich motif, 10 LRR domains, and 5 N-glycosylation sites in the N terminus.
Research indicates LGR7 acts as a receptor for relaxins (RLN1 and RLN2), stimulating adenylate cyclase activation, substrate adhesion, and chemomigratory capacity of mononuclear leukocytes.
It is critical for mediating these biological responses via RNA interference lentiviral short hairpin constructs.
LGR7 is widely expressed in 86% of 15 primary EC tissue samples, including brain, kidney, testis, and endometrium.
