Target Information
IRF3 (interferon regulatory factor 3)는 type I interferon (IFN)-의존적 면역 반응의 주요 전사 조절 인자입니다. DNA 및 RNA 바이러스에 대한 선천 면역 반응에서 핵심적인 역할을 하며, IFN-alpha, IFN-beta 및 IFN-stimulated genes (ISG)의 전사를 조절합니다.
IRF3는 바이러스 감염, 이중가닥 RNA 또는 Toll-like receptor 신호에 의해 인산화되어 활성화되며, 핵으로 이동하여 CREB binding protein과 결합해 dsRNA-activated factor 1 (DRAF1) 복합체를 형성합니다. 이 복합체는 type I IFN 및 ISG 유전자의 전사를 활성화합니다.
IRF3 유전자 변이는 특정 바이러스 감염 후 발생하는 급성 뇌병증과 관련이 있습니다.
