Product Specific Information

  • This antibody is expected not to cross-react with USP32 or TBC1D3 proteins.
  • Tested in Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4,000.
  • Preliminary analysis showed no signal in Western Blot.

Target Information

USP6 is a deubiquitinase with ATP-independent isopeptidase activity, cleaving at the C-terminus of the ubiquitin moiety. It catalyzes its own deubiquitination. In vitro, isoform2 (but not isoform3) shows deubiquitinating activity. USP6 promotes plasma membrane localization of ARF6 and selectively regulates ARF6-dependent endocytic protein trafficking. It can initiate tumorigenesis by inducing matrix metalloproteinase production following NF-kappa-B activation.
