Target Information
LILRB4 (CD85k) 유전자는 leukocyte immunoglobulin-like receptor (LIR) family에 속하며, 염색체 19q13.4 영역에 위치합니다. 이 단백질은 B class LIR 수용체 하위군에 속하고, 2~4개의 세포외 immunoglobulin domain, transmembrane domain, 그리고 2~4개의 cytoplasmic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs)를 포함합니다.
면역세포에서 발현되며, 항원제시세포의 MHC class I 분자에 결합하여 면역 반응 자극을 억제하는 음성 신호를 전달합니다. 또한 항원 포획 및 제시에 관여하며, 염증 반응과 세포독성을 조절하여 면역 반응의 초점을 맞추고 자가반응을 제한하는 역할을 합니다.
여러 전사 변이체가 보고되어 있으며, 서로 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다. (RefSeq, Jul 2008)
