Target Information
HIF-1 beta는 aryl hydrocarbon receptor nuclear translocator (ARNT) 유전자 산물의 일종으로, 저산소증(hypoxia) 관련 질환의 병리생리에 중요한 역할을 합니다. HIF-1은 산소 항상성에 관여하는 핵 단백질로, HIF-1 alpha 및 HIF-1 beta의 이합체 형태로 존재합니다. 정상 산소 조건에서는 HIF-1 alpha가 hydroxylation 후 분해되지만, 저산소 조건에서는 분해가 억제되어 전사 활성도가 증가합니다. 반면 HIF-1 beta는 이러한 조건 변화와 무관하게 안정적으로 유지됩니다. HIF-1 beta 이상은 저산소증 및 신세포암과 관련이 있습니다.
