Target Information
CAPG 유전자는 gelsolin/villin 계열의 actin 조절 단백질을 암호화하며, Ca²⁺ 및 phosphoinositide에 의해 조절되는 방식으로 F-actin 필라멘트의 barbed end를 가역적으로 차단합니다. 이 단백질은 actin 필라멘트를 절단하지 않으며, 비근육 세포에서 actin 기반 운동성 조절에 기여합니다. 대체 스플라이싱 변이체가 보고되었으나 완전히 규명되지는 않았습니다.
