NuMA (nuclear mitotic apparatus) is a long coiled-coil protein that plays a role in both the interphase and mitosis stages of the cell cycle.

In interphase, NuMA may contribute to nuclear organization and nucleoskeletal structure.
During mitosis, it is associated with spindle microtubule organization and chromosome positioning.
