Target Information
IRF8 (Interferon Regulatory Factor 8)은 전사 활성화 또는 억제 인자로 작용합니다. Type I IFN 및 IFN-inducible MHC class I 유전자의 상류 조절 영역에 특이적으로 결합합니다.
IRF8은 면역계 세포에서 음성 조절 역할을 하며, BATF-JUNB 이합체와 복합체를 형성하여 CD8+ 수지상세포 분화에 관여합니다.
이 복합체는 AICE 서열을 인식하여 면역 특이적 조절 요소에 결합하고 관련 유전자의 발현을 활성화합니다.
IRF8 유전자의 돌연변이는 면역결핍증 32A 및 32B를 유발할 수 있습니다.
