Target Information
Iduronate-2-sulfatase는 heparan sulfate와 dermatan sulfate의 리소좀 분해에 필수적인 효소입니다. 이 유전자의 돌연변이는 효소 결핍을 유발하여 Hunter Syndrome(Mucopolysaccharidosis Type II)으로 알려진 X-연관 질환을 초래합니다. Iduronate-2-sulfatase는 인간 arylsulfatases A, B, C 및 glucosamine-6-sulfatase와 높은 서열 유사성을 가지며, 여러 대체 스플라이싱 전사체 변이가 보고되어 있습니다.
