Target Information
Alivin 1 (ali1)은 신경세포 생존을 촉진하는 활성 의존적 1차 반응 유전자로, rat, mouse, human에서 공통적으로 7개의 leucine-rich repeats, 1개의 IgC2-like loop, 그리고 transmembrane domain을 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 Kek 및 Trk 계열과의 상동성을 가지며, ali1 발현이 granule neuron의 탈분극 의존적 생존을 촉진한다는 결과가 보고되었습니다.
Mouse ali1은 염색체 15번 상의 centromere로부터 약 55.3 cM 떨어진 위치에 있으며, 이는 인간 염색체 12번의 Alzheimer’s disease type 5 및 Parkinson’s disease 8 관련 유전자 영역과 상동적입니다.
