Target Information
MARK2 is a serine/threonine protein kinase involved in the control of cell polarity and microtubule stability. Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing of a 162-bp exon. Both isoforms are coexpressed in various cell lines and tissues. MARK2 (also known as EMK1) is encoded by a single ubiquitously expressed mRNA.
