Target Information

This gene encodes a member of the NEDD4-like protein family, known for ubiquitin-protein ligase activity. The encoded protein contains four tandem WW domains, each consisting of 35–40 amino acids with conserved aromatic residues. These domains mediate specific protein-protein interactions. Three alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms have been identified for this gene.
