Target Information
TAOK2 (TAO1)은 serine/threonine kinase로, stress-responsive p38 MAP kinase 경로의 중요한 조절자로 알려져 있습니다.
TAO2는 MEK3, MEK4, MEK6을 활성화하여 p38 MAP kinase 및 JNK/SAPK 경로를 조절합니다 (Chen et al., 1999; Chen and Cobb, 2001).
TAO 단백질 kinase는 생리적 자극으로부터 p38 MAPK로 이어지는 신호전달에 필수적인 역할을 수행하며, autophosphorylation은 TAO 활성화 기전에 관여합니다.
MEK 결합 도메인은 serine 및 threonine 잔기에 대해 autophosphorylation되며, Ser181은 해당 도메인 내에 위치합니다.
