HLA-B15 (B15)은 HLA-B 서브타입으로, B15 유전자 대립유전자의 단백질 산물을 식별합니다. B15는 여러 분할 항원(B62, B63, B70, B71, B72, B75, B76, B77)으로 세분화될 수 있으며, 인간 자가 염색체 중 가장 큰 대립유전자 그룹입니다. 2008년 기준 150개 이상의 대립유전자와 약 140개의 아미노산 서열 변형이 보고되었습니다.
HLA-B15 allele 1502는 동아시아인에서 카바마제핀 약물 민감성으로 인한 Stevens-Johnson 증후군(SJS) 및 독성 표피괴사증(TEN)과 관련이 있습니다.
HLA 및 MHC 항체는 면역펩티도믹스(Immunopeptidomics) 연구에서 중요한 역할을 하며, 고성능 액체 크로마토그래피 및 탠덤 질량분석법을 통해 신항원(neoantigen)의 식별과 특성 분석을 가능하게 합니다.
