Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
FKBP6 is a member of the immunophilin protein family, which plays a role in immunoregulation and basic cellular processes involving protein folding and trafficking. FKBP6 functions as a cis-trans prolyl isomerase that binds to the immunosuppressants FK506 and rapamycin. Mutations in this gene are associated with van der Woude syndrome and popliteal pterygium syndrome. This protein is involved in palate formation.
