TRAIP는 N-terminal RING finger motif와 coiled-coil domain을 포함하는 단백질입니다. 유사한 생쥐 단백질은 TNFR-associated factor 1 (TRAF1), TNFR-associated factor 2 (TRAF2), cylindromatosis와 상호작용합니다. TRAF2와의 결합은 TRAF2 매개 nuclear factor kappa-B subunit 1의 활성화를 억제하며, 이는 세포 활성화 및 apoptosis로부터의 보호에 필요합니다.
