Target Information
This gene is a member of the RAB gene family, belonging to the RAS GTPase superfamily. RAS-related signaling molecules are small GTP-binding proteins that play key roles in regulating exocytotic and endocytotic pathways. This gene maps to a site of ancestral telomere fusion and may be subtelomeric. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms.
