Target Information
RBM25는 RNA 결합 단백질로, pre-mRNA의 대체 스플라이싱 조절에 관여합니다.
이 단백질은 BCL2L1 유전자의 스플라이싱을 조절하여 세포자멸사(apoptosis)에 영향을 미칩니다.
RBM25의 과발현은 proapoptotic BCL2L1 isoform S의 발현을 증가시키며, 결핍 시 antiapoptotic isoform L의 축적을 유도합니다.
또한 SCN5A의 비정상적 스플라이스 변이 생성에도 관여합니다.
