Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step.
Recommended desalting product: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
MSMB protein is a member of the immunoglobulin binding factor family. It is synthesized by epithelial cells of the prostate gland and secreted into seminal plasma.
This protein exhibits inhibin-like activity and may function as an autocrine/paracrine factor in uterine, breast, and other female reproductive tissues.
MSMB expression is decreased in prostate cancer.
Two alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been described, and alternate polyadenylation sites are also observed for this gene.
