Target Information

CNOT4는 E3 유비퀴틴 리가아제 활성을 가진 575개의 아미노산으로 이루어진 단백질로, 단백질 변형 및 유비퀴틴화에 관여합니다. C4C4 타입의 RING zinc finger domain, RNA recognition motif, 그리고 bipartite nuclear localization signal을 포함합니다.
CCR4-NOT (CAF1) 복합체의 구성요소로서 전사 조절 복합체로 작용하며, 다양한 유전자의 발현을 양/음성 방향으로 조절합니다. CNOT4는 C-말단을 통해 CNOT1과 상호작용하고, C4C4 RING domain을 통해 E2 유비퀴틴 리가아제와 결합합니다. 또한 DNA 손상 반응에서 ATM 및 ATR 인식 부위에서 인산화되는 것으로 보고되었습니다.
