Target Information
PIAS1는 E3형 SUMO 리가아제로서 UBE2I와 기질 간 상호작용을 안정화시키며, SUMO-tethering 인자로 작용합니다. 이 단백질은 STAT, p53, 스테로이드 호르몬 신호 경로 등 다양한 세포 내 경로의 전사 조절에 중요한 역할을 합니다. 고환에서는 핵 수용체 전사 조절 인자로 기능하며, 안드로겐 수용체 활성화 및 정자형성 유지에 관여할 수 있습니다. 전사 조절 효과는 생물학적 맥락에 따라 달라질 수 있습니다.
