Target Information
Beta actin은 모든 인간 세포 유형에서 발현되는 비근육성 세포골격 단백질로, 세포 이동성, 구조 및 무결성 유지에 관여합니다. 인간에는 여섯 가지 actin isoform이 존재하며, beta 및 gamma actin은 대부분의 세포에서 공존합니다. Beta actin은 G-actin에서 F-actin으로 중합되어 이중 나선형 필라멘트를 형성합니다. 이 단백질은 진핵세포에서 보편적으로 발현되므로 Western blot 등 단백질 검출 실험에서 로딩 컨트롤로 자주 사용됩니다. Beta-actin 항체는 세포 내 분포 및 세포골격의 정적·동적 특성을 연구하는 데 유용한 도구입니다.
