The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
USP48 is a protein associated with the peptidase family C19 (family 2 of ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolases). Members of this family function as deubiquitinating enzymes that recognize and hydrolyze the peptide bond at the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin. These enzymes are involved in processing poly-ubiquitin precursors and ubiquitinated proteins.
