Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene functions as a scaffold protein and regulator for three kinases involved in proinflammatory signaling. It binds NF-kappa-B-inducing kinase (NIK) and IKKs through separate domains to assemble them into an active kinase complex. Mutations in this gene are associated with familial dysautonomia.
