Target Information
The IGFBP4 gene encodes a member of the insulin-like growth factor binding protein family. The protein contains both IGFBP and thyroglobulin type-I domains, binds IGF-I and IGF-II, and circulates in glycosylated and non-glycosylated forms. This binding prolongs IGF half-life and modulates their receptor interactions.
