Target Information
The ApoM (Apolipoprotein M) protein is a member of the lipocalin family and is associated primarily with high-density lipoproteins (HDL), and to a lesser extent with low-density lipoproteins (LDL) and triglyceride-rich lipoproteins. It remains membrane-bound after secretion and plays a role in lipid transport. Two transcript variants are known, with one fully characterized isoform.
