Mouse anti-Pig CD52, clone 11/305/44, is a monoclonal antibody recognizing the porcine homologue of human CD52, an approximately 19 kDa antigen expressed by mature lymphocytes, monocytes, and dendritic cells.
Target Information
CD52, also known as CAMPATH-1 antigen, is a glycoprotein expressed on the surface of various immune cells, including T and B lymphocytes, natural killer cells, and monocytes. It plays a role in immune regulation and is studied as a potential therapeutic target in diseases such as multiple sclerosis, chronic lymphocytic leukemia, and autoimmune disorders. CD52 is the target of alemtuzumab, a monoclonal antibody used to treat these conditions by depleting immune cells expressing CD52.
