Target Information
HSPB1 (heat shock protein beta-1 or HSP27)는 세포가 스트레스 환경에 노출될 때 발현이 증가하는 소형 heat shock protein입니다. 변성된 단백질을 접힘 가능한 상태로 유지하는 분자 샤페론으로 작용하며, 스트레스 저항성과 액틴 조직화에 관여합니다. 또한 신경세포 내 neurofilament 단백질의 인산화 및 축삭 수송을 조절합니다.
HSP27 유전자 변이는 Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease 2F 및 Neuronopathy distal hereditary motor 2B와 관련이 있습니다.
