This antibody detects endogenous levels of DDR1 only when phosphorylated at Tyr513.
Target Information
DDR1 is a receptor tyrosine kinase activated by collagen and regulates adhesion, cell migration, and other cellular processes. It is widely expressed in normal and transformed epithelial cells and is activated by various types of collagen (types I–VI). DDR1 plays a role in cell growth, differentiation, and metabolism. Expression is mainly restricted to epithelial cells in the kidney, lung, gastrointestinal tract, and brain, and is overexpressed in several human tumors including breast, ovarian, esophageal, and pediatric brain cancers. The gene is located on chromosome 6p21.3 near HLA class I genes, with multiple transcript variants due to alternative splicing.
