Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).
Target Information
The PKLR gene encodes a pyruvate kinase enzyme that catalyzes the transphosphorylation of phosphoenolpyruvate into pyruvate and ATP, a rate-limiting step in glycolysis.
Defects or mutations in this enzyme are associated with chronic hereditary nonspherocytic hemolytic anemia (CNSHA or HNSHA).
Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified.
