Target Information
RNP2 is a type I integral membrane protein localized to the rough endoplasmic reticulum. It is a component of the N-oligosaccharyl transferase complex, which transfers high mannose oligosaccharides to asparagine residues in nascent polypeptides at Asn-X-Ser/Thr motifs. This protein shares sequence similarity with the yeast oligosaccharyl transferase subunit SWP1.
