Target Information
The SH2 (Src Homology 2) domain is a structurally conserved motif containing two alpha helices and seven beta strands, found in a variety of proteins involved in cellular signal transduction. The SH2 domain directs SH2-containing proteins to tyrosine-phosphorylated sites, initiating protein-protein interactions that can influence gene expression and cellular function.
