Target Information
The TRIM54 gene encodes a protein containing a RING finger motif, showing high similarity to ring finger proteins RNF28 (MURF1) and RNF29 (MURF2). In vitro studies indicate that TRIM54, RNF28, and RNF29 form heterodimers, potentially regulating titin kinase and microtubule-dependent signaling pathways in striated muscles. Alternative splicing variants encoding distinct isoforms have also been reported.
