IL4 Receptor alpha (IL4RA)는 interleukin 4 수용체의 알파 사슬로, interleukin 4 및 interleukin 13과 결합하여 IgE 생성, 케모카인 및 점액 생산을 조절합니다. IL4 반응은 Th2 분화를 촉진하며, 분비형 sIL4R alpha는 IL4 매개 세포 증식과 T세포의 IL5 상향조절을 억제합니다. 유전자 변이는 알레르기성 비염, 부비동염, 천식, 습진 등 아토피 관련 질환과 연관되어 있습니다.
