Target Information
USP48 is a protein associated with the peptidase family C19 (ubiquitin carboxyl-terminal hydrolases family 2). These enzymes act as deubiquitinating enzymes that hydrolyze the peptide bond at the C-terminal glycine of ubiquitin. Members of this family are involved in processing poly-ubiquitin precursors and ubiquitinated proteins.
