Target Information
E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase that mediates ubiquitination of TFRC, CD86, FAS, and MHC class II proteins (HLA-DR alpha and beta), promoting endocytosis and lysosomal sorting via multivesicular bodies. It constitutively ubiquitinates MHC class II proteins in immature dendritic cells, down-regulating their surface localization and sequestering them within the intracellular endosomal system.
