Target Information

TLK2 (Tousled-like kinase 2)는 핵 내 serine/threonine kinase로, 크로마틴 조립 조절에 관여합니다. 또한 세포 내 신호전달, 단백질 인산화, 세포주기 조절, 크로마틴 변형 및 DNA 손상 반응에도 관련되어 있습니다. TLK2는 S기 동안 최대 활성을 나타내며, DNA 복제 억제 시 활성이 급격히 감소합니다. Ser-750에서 CHK1에 의해 인산화되어 불활성화될 수 있으며, TLK1과 이합체를 형성합니다. 태반, 간, 신장, 췌장, 심장, 골격근 등 다양한 조직에서 발현됩니다.
