Target Information
HEY2 is a downstream effector of Notch signaling and may be required for cardiovascular development.
Acts as a transcriptional repressor binding preferentially to the canonical E-box sequence 5'-CACGTG-3', and represses transcription by cardiac transcriptional activators GATA4 and GATA6.
