Target Information
IDO1 (Indoleamine 2,3-dioxygenase 1)는 heme을 포함한 세포 내 효소로, 트립토판, 세로토닌, 멜라토닌 등의 인돌 고리를 산화적으로 절단하여 kynurenine 대사산물을 생성합니다.
IDO1은 다양한 인체 조직, 대식세포, 수지상세포(DCs)에 널리 발현되며, 염증 시 인터페론(IFN)에 의해 유도됩니다.
IFN-γ에 의한 IDO1 유도는 항균 기작의 중요한 부분으로, 트립토판 분해를 통해 바이러스, 세균, 기생충의 성장을 억제합니다.
또한 IDO1은 감염, 임신, 자가면역, 이식, 종양 등에서 면역 조절에 중요한 역할을 수행합니다.
