Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The EGR2 gene encodes the early growth response 2 protein, a transcription factor that binds specific DNA sequences to regulate gene expression.
EGR2 plays a key role in the formation and maintenance of myelin, the protective sheath around nerve cells that enables efficient nerve impulse transmission.
Mutations in the EGR2 gene are associated with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease types 1D and 4E, as well as Dejerine-Sottas syndrome, which affects myelin development in infancy or early childhood.
