Target Information
MAPKAPK5 (PRAK)는 세포 스트레스 및 염증성 사이토카인에 반응하여 활성화되는 serine/threonine kinase 계열 단백질입니다. p38 α 및 p38 β에 의해 조절되며, HSP27 단백질을 생리학적으로 관련된 위치에서 인산화합니다.
두 가지 alternative splicing 형태의 transcript variant가 보고되어 있으며, 각각 다른 isoform을 암호화합니다.
