Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The TLR8 protein is a member of the Toll-like receptor (TLR) family, which plays a fundamental role in pathogen recognition and activation of innate immunity.
TLRs are highly conserved from Drosophila to humans and recognize pathogen-associated molecular patterns (PAMPs) expressed on infectious agents, mediating cytokine production for effective immune responses.
The TLR8 gene is predominantly expressed in lung and peripheral blood leukocytes and is located near TLR7 on the X chromosome.
