Target Information
PHKG2는 인체 고환 및 간에서 발현되는 phosphorylase kinase gamma 소단위의 isoform입니다.
Phosphorylase kinase는 α, β, γ, δ 각 4개의 소단위로 구성된 16량체 효소이며, γ 소단위가 활성 부위를 포함합니다.
PHKG2 유전자는 간 isoform을 암호화하며, 변이 시 glycogen storage disease type 9C (autosomal liver glycogenosis)를 유발할 수 있습니다.
또한 다양한 alternative splicing으로 여러 isoform이 존재합니다.
