Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the transmembrane 4 superfamily (tetraspanin family). Members of this family are cell-surface proteins with four hydrophobic domains and are involved in signal transduction events that regulate cell development, activation, growth, and motility. Alternate polyadenylation sites and two alternative transcripts encoding different isoforms have been described.
