Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
ZF21 was initially identified as a protein that binds to the cytoplasmic tail of MT1-MMP (Membrane-type 1 matrix metalloproteinase), a potent invasion-promoting protease.
It belongs to a protein family characterized by a phosphatidylinositol 3-phosphate-binding FYVE domain and regulates focal adhesions (FAs) and cell movement.
Knockdown of ZF21 expression delays FA disassembly after nocodazole-induced synchronization, suggesting its role in FA disassembly.
ZF21 contains a noncanonical pleckstrin homology domain, a potential therapeutic target in metastatic cancer research.
