• Reconstitution: Add 15 µL or 50 µL of double distilled water (DDW), depending on sample size.
• The antibody ships as a lyophilized powder at room temperature.
• Upon arrival, store at -20°C.
• Reconstituted solution can be stored at 4°C, protected from light, for up to 1 week.
• For longer storage, aliquot and store at -20°C.
• Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
• Centrifuge all antibody preparations before use (10,000 × g, 5 min).

Target Information

SLC16A1 (MCT1) is a monocarboxylate transporter that mediates the movement of lactate and pyruvate across cell membranes. Transport of these substrates in tissues such as erythrocytes, muscle, intestine, and kidney is largely due to the action of this proton-coupled MCT.
