Arfaptin 2는 trans Golgi network에서의 금속단백분해효소(MMP) 분비에 관여하며, 특정 cargo subdomain에서의 소포 생합성에 중요한 역할을 할 수 있습니다. 또한 ATG9A 소포의 starvation-dependent trafficking을 조절하여 자가포식 과정에 참여하고, IKBKB 및 IKBKG와 상호작용하여 NF-κB 억제에 관여합니다.
