Target Information
Anti-Rat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified and exhibit well-characterized specificity for rat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of rat antibodies. Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by allowing multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody. Typically, these antibodies are generated by immunizing host animals with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) for high specificity.
