Target Information
TIM3 (Hepatitis A virus cellular receptor 2, HAVCR2, T-cell immunoglobulin, mucin-domain containing-3)는 281개의 아미노산으로 구성된 Type-1 Th1 특이 세포 표면 당단백질입니다.
TIM3는 IgV-like 도메인, mucin-like 도메인, 그리고 세포질 내 Tyrosine phosphorylation motif를 포함합니다.
이 단백질은 대식세포 활성화, 자가면역 질환 유도, Th1 면역 반응 조절 및 면역 관용 형성에 관여합니다.
병리학적으로는 Experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE)와 관련이 있으며, 마우스 모델에서 EAE의 중증도를 증가시킵니다.
