Target Information
Phosphatidate phosphatase (PAP)는 진핵세포의 지질 신호 대사에서 중요한 역할을 하는 효소입니다. PAP1과 PAP2 두 가지 유형은 세포 내 위치 및 N-ethylmaleimide(NEM)와 Mg²⁺에 대한 감수성에 따라 구분됩니다.
효모의 diacylglycerol pyrophosphate (DGPP) phosphatase (DPP1)와 포유류의 DGPP phosphatase (PAP2)는 Mg²⁺ 비의존적이며 NEM 비감수성의 막 결합형 효소로 알려져 있습니다.
PPAPDC1A (DPPL2)와 PPAPDC1B (DPPL1)는 Mg²⁺ 비의존적이면서 NEM 감수성을 보이는 새로운 형태의 포유류 phosphatidate phosphatase로, 다양한 기질 특이성을 나타냅니다.
PPAPDC1A는 주로 내피세포에서 발현되며, angiogenesis에 관여할 가능성이 제시되고 있습니다.
